Harvest Champs

The children's ministry at Harvest Renewal is an extension of the family ministry.  Far from babysitting, we see our role as twofold: equipping parents to minister to their own children and teaching children a love for the word and church of God .

We believe that family is the foundation and validation of all ministry.  Therefore, we want to equip parents by providing resources and accountability for training their children in righteousness.  We also strive to provide a fun environment for learning church history, catechism, Bible memory, and Bible passages.

Once every three months we have a Family Sunday.  On those Sundays, children remain in the worship service with their parents and learn to worship together as a family the entire service.  Typically the children also have a performance on those Sundays- songs, plays, memory passages, or recitations.

Our children love to be together and love coming to church.  As we see them grow into children of God, we are even more motivated to communicate our core values through our children's ministry.  By the time our children are adults, we desire to see the core values of lordship, discipleship, evangelism, family, and leadership mark their lives.
